About me.

I've been writing since the age of five when I would crawl into my closet to draft short stories, keeping them safe from prying eyes in a Hello Kitty pencil case. In 2014, I graduated from The University of California, Berkeley where I earned my degree in English. While there, I led undergraduate creative writing workshops in playwriting and visual storytelling, wrote and directed original short plays, taught a course on animal welfare, became a member of a campus improv team, and served as an Editor on The Berkeley Poetry Review.

I've had poetry published in several Bay Area literary magazines and worked as a dramaturg for some of the region's most prestigious theaters including American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) and The California Shakespeare Theater (Cal Shakes).

I've since turned my love for storytelling into a career in content marketing and brand development in which I prepared an autonomous driving technology company for a successful IPO, spear-headed a grassroots organization working to empower women in the autotech industry, and even had a stint as a professional "cat wrangler".
